How install and play DLC Content

1) Before you can install YOU NEED TO TURN OFF gameplay feedback and autoconnect.
   Do so by starting Mass Effect 2 and going to extras > Options.
   Then exit game.
2) Install all the files from DLC directory in this torrent.
3) Put the crack from the crack directory in this torrent to your Mass Effect 2    directory. Run Crack from there.
4) Start the game and enjoy your new Mass Effect 2 content

Works Perfectly even if mid game. You get messages when you return to the Normandy.

Zeead works perfect for me and the Crash Site works.

You need to make sure your firewall is blocking Mass effect launcher and game. Also make sure you don't connect to Cerberus Network System or your DLC and or Game maybe classed as a pirate version and disabled.

everything done in accordance to the instructions, firewall policy added to block both launcher and game. Still it doesn't consider dlc's authorized if you're not connected to the network.

Didnt work at first for me, followed all the instructions posted and got the error message at the main menu. I then ran the crack again and this time with mass effect 2 blocked by my firewall and also i disconected my internet and it worked. So far everythings seems to be going fine, got all the armors and guns. Havent check out the crash site and zaeed though.

Followed all the steps and in the main menu there is a "New Content" button, but when I click it it just brings me to the bioware account homepage.
I checked ingame, but no new weapon in my weapons locker or anything..

first, many thx for the torrent and upload ;)

installed everything fine, copied crack to directory and ran, it asked to save/overwrite a file and i let it.
all items seem to be working, not tried any of the other extra missions though yet.
but i just did a mission and had the option to leave or stay, i stayed to pick up a few extra items but the (F) function to leave is not working now.. i know it was working previously to installing these as ive already completed it.
is anyone else having this problem with it?

workaround for now -- dont stay when asked....lol

I figured , finally , out how the DLC works!
This is for the ones ...lost:

- First enter the game's menu normally and in OPTIONS/ONLINE...close those two...features.
- Enter your network connections/firewall settings/Exceptions and unchecked the TWO lines reffering to MASS EFFECT game.
- Run the DLC (each "exe")
- Copy in game's menu and run that crack
- LET THE internet connection ON ! Otherwise the game it will give that error in the main menu! And it will give also an error if you think you can solve it running again that crack.

Do all these and the game will WORK 100%

I checked...I cannot play if I close the internet connection.I know it's odd but it works ! If I close the connection...that screen with "you cannot use DLC etc" appears ! And it is also not lettting me run the crack. It has to be an explanation.
Who knows maybe those steps made different ...result in a different outcome.

i installed all the dlcs but when i run the crack (after i copied it to the mass effect dictionary) it just shows a loading courser and lagges my computer it did for about 3 hours before i restarted it because it wasn't doing anything. And the dlcs still wont work, anyone know why the crack doesn't work for me?

P.S: For security, all files are packed in a SFX-archives, therefore, have a slightly larger size and expansion .exe (just unpack archives in the right place for you and then act on instructions given to the file)

Is it just me or are all of the DLC weapons and armor crap? The N7 armor looks better than the DLC ones, and the weapons are simply useless once you've beaten the game and have better ones.

The reason they won't just buy it is because they think pirating shit is the coolest thing ever. They can't wait to go into GameStop and brag to the people who aren't "in the know" about how they got their copy of (insert title here) either early or for free.

Real pirates support the developers who provide them with quality software by buying a legit copy if they like it. This new generation of pirates who don't give a fuck about anything are the ones who're making developers turn their backs on PC Gaming and go over to the console. More and more developers are making their titles console exclusive. We were LUCKY they even ported this over to PC. Take a look around, all of the PC exclusives are GONE because they jumped ship. Now everything for PC is a port from gay fucking consoles, and most of the time they run like shit because they do a half-ass job.

Thanks a lot assholes. So much for a Crysis sequel. Cheap fuckin' scumbags can't even pull $50 out of their ass for a kickass game once in a while.

okay so heres the only thing im able to do.

turned off the gameplay feedback and the other one. when i try to install the DLC, i cant and i dont know whats the reason for that. everytime i try to install each of it, it says, "Mass Effect 2 does not appear to be installed. Please install the game, and try again", but it is installed, its not installed in the default drive but in another one, which is the D: drive for me, default=C:.

i already did a lot of research for this problem but i have never found any solution yet. i saw a few people having this same problem but they never got a solution or any help for it.

I want to mention a major problem that noone have noticed already.When you run the crack a window pops up and it tryes to find the dlc that are installed.It finds everything except Zeed which means that Companion Zeed is not installed.SO...can anyone fix the crack? -_-

I've done some tests and i figured out the problem with Zaeed.I installed only the Zaeed addon and run the crack and guess what...it installs the visor -_-

i know dude!, i figured that out like the other night i think. cos i remember i reformatted my default drive, but the other drive was reformatted so my games were still there. so the registry doesnt read my games. yeah i guess i have to redownload the game again, well every game i have fuck :(.

When i'm comming to the final part - the crack , when i run it , popups regular windows error : this program encountered a problem and needs to close . WTF ??????????? I have to add that i run it on computer that stays always offline , one week old (pretty new) and only thing it has installed is Win xp sp 3 and MassEffect 1 + Sims 3 . I just dont see any reasons for errors .

I don't know if anyone else has had this error but I'll write it down here just in case and/or for future reference.

If you get the
"The selected save game cannot be loaded. The following downloadable content is missing:" etc. error. all you need to do is reapply the bundled crack and make sure to overwrite the file when it prompts you. I haven't been able to verify if this fucks up any in-game data but it was the only thing I could do that would let me play the game and Shepard still had the Recon Hood on when the game was loaded.

Please install game, and try again.' but my game is installed I got the Razor 1911 and my game location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Bioware\Mass Effect 2 I am running Win 7 and I don't know what the problem is. i'm running vista, and i installed all the .exe's and then put the crack in the ME2 folder and ran it. however, when i run the crack the program stops responding, and when I go into ME2 it says it cannot authorize the DLC packs (all of them), and i should log into the account used to purchase the game.

i did everything like disabling the auto connect and blocking the game with windows firewall, but even so the computer i'm using doesn't get an internet connection at all at the moment.

guys need some help.

i installed all the DLC's fine. but the crack doesn't work, it crashes immediately when i run it. the console for giveme2entitlements say:

i've put the crack in the root directory of ME2m turned off the 2 options in ME2 about connecting online, unchecked ME2 in firewall exceptions and i've even tried disconnecting my internet but no go..xD

Nvm found a solution on google :> ftw! Anyway if you're having that problems just go ALT+DEL+CTRL go to Processors. Right click Mass Effect 2 while its running. and choose REALTIME for highest priority. GL HF TY :>

I have personally found that to get the DLC to stay authorised, I HAVE to fire up ME2 with my net connection enabled every time (though blocked by my firewall). I can then alt-tab to desktop & disable my net connection. The game plays perfectly from then on with all DLC included. If I start ME2 without my net turned on I ALWAYS get the DLC error message. This is the ONLY method that works for me with the DLC. Hope this helps those who are struggling (as I was!)

@ Ploppy10 - I worked out the fix a while ago but only just noticed your reply, sry -

1.If you are recieving the error about authorizing installed DLC (a common problem) try these steps:-
a.Remove both Mass Effect 2 entries from your windows firewall exceptions list, simply untick them both.

b.Install each DLC file. Windows 7 may say they didn't install properly - just tell it that they did.

c.Reload your 1.01 crack patch (fixed .exe) - as mentioned above the new DLC installs patch 1.01 WITHOUT ASKING, so re-crack your game afterwards.

d.Enable your internet connection, then run the 'giveme2entitlements.exe' or any other DLC crack. If it asks you to replace the .ini file, select Yes. (If your net connection is not active you will recieve an error from the DLC crack).

e.With your Internet connection still enabled, run the game. (DO NOT have any firewall apps running either for this step) On the main menu, you should now see the menu options load without any 'Unable to authorized DLC' message :)

f.Now ALT-TAB back to your desktop & disable your internet connection. Go back into the game (click the icon in the taskbar) & click on 'Exit Game'.

g.From now on you can now run the game without the net connection & your DLC will stay authorized :)

h.If you add more DLC in the future & you get the 'Unauthorized error' again, simply repeat the above steps to re-enable it.

The key is not having a firewall running when authorizing for the 1st time :)

Don't forget to run the crack AS ADMIN or it may not overwrite the neccessary files. That's why it did not work for me in the first place.

I have done everything RIGHT...Installed the DLC Pack one by one...copy paste the crack correctly into binaries witch overwrited correctly the .ini files and when afterwards go into the game to play it shows the "New Content" but when I double click on it ..it sends me straight to EA page or something! I tried "Dog909" way to stay offline and play the DLC but when I do this there is no option of "New Content" in the first Menu! I have installed and 1.01, 1.02 patches...! What Am I Missing? I have set MS2 blocked by windows firewall..I have AVG 9....as well!
Do I need to finish the game to play the DLC's???

My DLC-s exe do not run correct.
I run DLC.exe it start loading and when it had 90-99% it exit......

Managed to install DLC files and crack with no problem.

DLC did not authorise until I disconnected my internet. Now it works fine.

This DLC works with TPTB version of Mass Effect 2.

For DLC authorizing problems if you go to main menu select extras and turn off automatic login to ea servers then it should be solved, worked for me.

ok got crack to work but it still gives me an error. Is there a way to run the crack without the internet? My game in installed on my offline computer that has no nic or wireless capabilities so there is no way to connect it to the web and after running the crack I am told it cant find my adapter so is there a way around this to make it work?

Just a couple of notes: the crack has to be put into the binaries folder to work. Also, I wasn't able to get my DLC to work. it said it wasn't authorised. I read someone elses suggestion that you merely need to tuen off your auto-login to the EA servors but this didn't help.

Works perfectly. Had some trouble at first so I'll post some steps.

1. Start Mass Effect 2 and enter extras/options/online. Switch off both of the available options.
2. Run all of the DLCs straight from the download folder.
3. Copy the crack to the binaries folder in your install location and run the app.
4. Start up the game and activate the new content from the start menu.
5. Enjoy!

I downloaded the files, turned the 2 online options in the extras title menu off, put the giveme2entitlements.exe in the ME2>Biogame>DLC folder and run it. All's fine so far. but when i turn ME2 on and clik the new content option, it bring me to the official website of biogame to login. so should I make an account and login? since the online options in the game are off.
